Daily health checks are a very important part of the daily routine for both keepers and dolphins. You can experience gently touching the surface of their body to check their skin condition, while also observing how their bodies are structured. -

This program introduces dolphin training and health care.You just might be able to touch the surface of the dolphins’ body while observing them up close.
Sea lion playtime
During playtime, the sea lions, who are very athletic, energetically play ring toss games and ball games.The keeper introduces the important points in conducting health checks while also talking about sea lion ecology and behavior.

Otter playtime
Rin and Ran are two sisters who are also great friends.Otters love to stick their hands into narrow places to look for food.Experience the texture of their hands by gently touching them as they pick up their snacks!

Doctor fish (Garra rufa)
Doctor fish, which are similar to carp, live in rivers and ponds in the Middle East. They have a mouth perfect for eating algae and microorganisms off of stones, etc., and they eat dead skin cells by sucking them off of human skin. Be careful about the following during the experience.
Do not participate if you have any wounds on your hand!
If you are wearing hand cream or sunscreen, wash it off completely! -
African spurred tortoise (Centrochelys sulcata)
Some of the African spurred tortoises on Dolphin Island appeared as baby Gamera in the movie "Gamera the Brave". They show up here and there on the island with the keepers. Where are they today?

- Each program is subject to change or cancellation without notice based on the weather or the condition of the animals.
Dolphin keeper program (body surface check, snack time)
- The body surface check is limited to elementary school students or older, but participation may be denied if the keeper deems it would be difficult.
- Please purchase tickets from the ticket vending machine in the park restaurant.
- Capacity and fixed admission system. Since tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis on Dolphin Island, they may already be sold out when you enter Dolphin Island. In that case, we ask for your forgiveness.
- No refunds are possible in the case of cancellation after ticket purchase.

View from the observatory
You can enjoy a 360° panoramic view of Toba Bay, as well as Mitsushima, a scenic spot, and outlying inhabited islands. You can even see as far as Chita and Atsumi Peninsula in Aichi Prefecture and Ise Bay.
Also, looking down at the surface of the sea, you can see the beautiful wake left by the excursion boats, and enjoy the extraordinary view while experiencing the blue of the sea.360°view from the observatory

Observation Lift (single passenger)
Reach the observation plaza at the summit without needing to walk! You can enjoy the sea breeze and the view.
Suitable for Ages 4 and up Fare 400 yen one-way,700 yen round-trip - *Fare (same for both adults and children)
- *Service may be cancelled in case of inclement weather.
- *The lift can accommodate one passenger at a time. The lift may not be ridden while carrying a child.
- *Please hold backpacks and other baggage in front of your body on your lap while riding the lift.
- *Access may be denied for reasons such as for the passenger’s own safety.

Hinatahama Beach
A tunnel near the dolphin pond leads to a sandy beach with a great view.
Play in the sand and water on beach that feels private!
