Mikimoto Pearl Island
This is the island where Kokichi Mikimoto succeeded in pearl cultivation for the first time in the world in 1893. The Pearl Museum, which introduces the charm of pearls from various perspectives, is located here, along with the Kokichi Mikimoto Memorial Museum, the Pearl Plaza (store and restaurant), and other facilities. Ama (female diver) demonstrations are also a must-see!

Toba Aquarium
Features more species than any other aquarium in Japan! This is one of the largest aquariums in Japan, and you can come into contact with roughly 1,200 species of creatures. In particular, the dugong, the only one of its kind in Japan, and sea otters, popular for their cute behavior, are must-sees. Sea lion and walrus shows are also held daily!
