- Where can I board?
- There are two boarding locations.
Toba Marine Terminal: Roughly 9 min on foot from Kintetsu Toba Station
Pearl Island & Toba Aquarium Pick Up/Drop Off Dock: Roughly 5 min on foot from Kintetsu Toba Station; 1 min on foot from Mikimoto Pearl Island; and 5 min on foot from Toba Aquarium
You can also board the boat at the Toba Marine Terminal and disembark at Pearl Island & Toba Aquarium Pick Up/Drop Off Dock.
*There is no toll parking available near the Pearl Island & Toba Aquarium Pick Up/Drop Off Dock. If coming by car or sightseeing bus, please go to the Toba Marine Terminal. Toll parking is available nearby at Satahama Parking Lot, which can accommodate approximately 250 passenger cars. However, please note that even cruise passengers are not provided with parking service tickets. Parking for large sightseeing buses is free.

- How early should I arrive? (To purchase tickets and perform the boarding procedure)
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time. During the busy season or on other days when crowds are expected, please arrive well in advance.

- Are there days with no service (regular holidays or closed days)?
- There are no regular holidays.
However, there is no service from mid-January to early February.
Cruises may also be suspended suddenly due to weather conditions on the day of departure.

- Is there service even on rainy days?
- There is service as usual even on rainy days. However, service may be suspended suddenly in the case of storms, poor visibility, high waves, or strong winds.

- What are the fare categories?
- Passengers of junior high school age or older are considered adults. Passengers 4 years of age or older, or in elementary school are considered children. And one small child under 4 years of age is free for each adult.

- Can I pay by credit card or e-money?
- Credit cards are accepted, but not for some combination tickets.
QR payment (PayPay) is only accepted at Toba Marine Terminal.
However, only cash is accepted in the onboard café area.

- Are coin-operated lockers available?
- There are no coin-operated lockers on board.It is also not possible to check in luggage or belongs for safekeeping.
Please use the coin-operated lockers in the Toba Marine Terminal waiting area and at Kintetsu Toba Station.

- There is no free parking. However, Satahama Parking Lot, a toll parking lot located near Toba Marine Terminal, can accommodate roughly 250 passenger cars.
However, please note that even cruise passengers are not provided with parking service tickets. Parking for large sightseeing buses is free.

- Yes, they are wheelchair accessible. However, some wheelchairs may be too large or heavy to bring on board.

- Pets are allowed on board, but only small pets weighing 10 kg or less. However, please comply with the following.
・Pets must not disturb other passengers.
・Be sure to completely secure your pet by placing him/her in a pet carrier of the appropriate size and that can be closed or fastened shut (drawstring closures are not acceptable). Pets will not be allowed on board if the lid, door, zipper, etc. of the carrier is not completely closed and their head or other body part is sticking out.
・When on board and on deck, keep your pet completely secured in its pet carrier. Pets may not have their head or other body part sticking out.

- All seats are unreserved.
Seating is limited on both the 1st and 2nd levels, and seats may not be available during busy times.

- Flower Mermaid, which is now in service, is equipped with men’s and women’s restrooms for general use on the aft deck on the 1st level. There is a step on the way to the restrooms.
Mitsushima, which is now in service, is equipped with a simple unisex restroom on the aft deck. There is a step on the way to the restroom.

- Bicycles may be loaded on board, but they will be handled as parcels and will incur a parcel charge.
・When bringing bicycles on board in a bicycle bag (of roughly the size of a suitcase): 400 yen per bicycle
・When bringing bicycles on board as-is: 500 yen per bicycle
A maximum of 5 bicycles may be loaded at once. However, priority is given to passengers, so depending on the circumstances, it may not be possible to bring your bicycle on board. As the ships are not designed for carrying cargo, the bicycle loading/unloading gate is narrow and no space is provided for loading them. Please be aware that bicycles may be loaded onto the outside the ship.
